Terms of Service

DRAFT — Last updated July 2026. This is a working draft of our Terms of Service for the private beta and has not yet been finalized by counsel. It will be replaced with final terms before any public launch.

1. The service

JobClover ("we," "us," "the Service") is an AI-assisted tool that helps you draft resumes and cover letters. You provide your work history and a job description; the Service generates draft documents grounded in that information for you to review, edit, and use as you see fit. JobClover is currently offered as a private, invite-only beta and is not generally available to the public.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use JobClover. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and must not share your account with anyone else.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. AI-generated content

Documents produced by JobClover are drafted with the assistance of artificial intelligence and are provided as a starting point, not a finished, verified work product. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing any generated resume or cover letter before you send it to an employer or any other party. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, free of errors, or suitable for any particular application or employer.

5. Your content and our license

You retain ownership of the work history, documents, and other content you upload or input ("Your Content"), and of the resumes and cover letters JobClover generates for you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Notice. We do not claim ownership over Your Content or your generated documents.

6. Data processing

Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Beta program terms

The Service is currently in private beta. Features, availability, performance, and pricing may change without notice, and the Service may be interrupted, limited, or discontinued at any time during the beta period. Beta access is provided "as is" and may be revoked at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobClover and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to outcomes related to job applications, interviews, or employment decisions made using generated documents. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, during the beta period.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the beta program. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though you may still request an export or deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which JobClover operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly as the beta program evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
